What's best domain for business directory website?

Hi, the most common and trusted domain extension is .com, but what do you think about others, such as .biz, .directory, .local, or .net for business directory website?

Biz local and directory are bad. Net is better than those by far. If you're a developer planning to create a business directory for long term use, I advise against using the net version of your chosen domain in which the com is already taken. It will only increase the coms value and make it harder for you to acquire in the future. Better to find a decent com that's available.
