Hi folks,

Just got this new domain: whatisindustry.com

It is getting 5 million searches per month with over 20 million global.
Related IndustryAmerica.com is selling for $4,588.

What do you think?
Thanks, RC

Hello RCM, welcome to Namepros.
In the google keyword tool, down the left side uncheck the 'broad' box and check only the 'exact' box. You'll see that the phrase 'what is industry' receives only 1900 exact monthly searches.

IMO the domain has no value, unless someone is really interested in creating an info site with it. Still, even to an end user I'd say the domain wouldn't fetch more than 2 figures in a sale. There's always the chance of an ideal buyer happening along and paying more, but I wouldn't wait for that, I personally wouldn't have regged this one.

Good luck, have fun here :)

$10

The problem is that sounds a bit boring the idea of building a site to say what is industry so I guess not much people would be interested

Although as Bannen said, the chance that a buyer willing to pay more would exist is not sure but you can bet for that fixing a higher value and wait if happen, personally I wouldn't wait for that

Just my opinion, good luck!

reg fee imo.

What is industry?
Its like asking "what is food".
Well, you can eat food.
Great info, thanks.

Remember 1900 people searching for "what is industry" WORLDWIDE (5 billion people), means 1900 people are so dumb that they don't even know what industry means. Or little kids hearing this word for the first time.

In any case, i would uncheck the auto renew box and let this name drop after its first (and last) year of life.

That's what happens when you register domains based on searches... but don't know why :)
