I own the domain - DragonAgeOrigins (.) com which the is name of a game coming out November 2009.

The domain gets about 150 visits per day and I'm running Google Adsense on it.

It's making about $1-$2 per day, but here's what I'm wondering -

Should I park it and just ride it out?
Should I turn the site into a forum?
Should I just sell it?

I'm leaning towards building a forum, but I don't want to moderate the site.

What would you do?

Any and all replies welcome!

Leave it as it is, would be my first shot a couple of bucks a day is better than nothing, but a forum could be a nice idea, I would add a for sale sign on your page with the suggestion of turning it into a forum, maybe that way anyone that is visiting it might consider buying it from you, so you dont need to actively try and sell it.

Or look at the other gaming forums out there and offer a partnership deal with others doing this already split the revenue and you remain the owner of the name.

Hope it helps.

leave the site as is, traffic (revenue) will increase as the game is released!. Also, you could add some cheat codes or something to keep gamers coming back to your site!.

Thanks for the fast replies. Funny, since the time I posted this, I now have an offer to join a gaming network, on the condition I convert the domain to a forum...

Hey!

Great domain. :) I think you have one ad unit too much. The TOS allows only three units per page (plus link units). If the search engine traffic will go up I'd suggest to try out Chitika. They show up ads only for people coming from the search engine.

Also look for some free layouts in Google. Maybe you'll find a good desinged layout that you could use on your domain with little editing. :tu:

depending on the usage you could actually still keep that domain (if there's no TM on it and "dragon age origins" was the name of something else) but clearly it's a site profiting off that video game, and if there's a TM on it, it's just smething you should be weary of
