Hello,

I have a domain name, Publishing.net, that's just collecting dust by being parked. I'd like to turn it into an income-producing website but I don't know WHAT kind of site it should be (How to get published, How to publish online, writing forum, etc.).

Here is my criteria:
1. The site needs to earn money.
2. I need it to be as hands-off (for me) as possible.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

You could make it a job listing site for the publishing industry. I don't know if Monster or HotJobs have affiliate programs but that could make it hands off.

turn it into an article publishing site where authors can post their work.

Not sure how involved you have to be (doubt there's a script or anything simple like that but who knows).

examples are http://www.ezinearticles.com etc.
