What is "priority" and "frequency" in sitemaps?

Can you discribe what is frequency and Default priority in xml sitemap?

and how can we create xml sitemap for big website (Over 10k pages)

Using update frequency (how often you update a page) and priority (relative page importance within your website) can help search engines prioritize their "crawl budget" for your website.

And 10K pages is not particular big. Many sitemap tools can handle that
