Hi,

This may be a silly question. What does ® stand for? If a term (for example ABC) is ®, can I still register the DN www.ABC.com? Thanks for the help.

This should either belong in

"Domain Name Newbies"
or
"Domain Name Discussion"

But yes, registered trademark.

i think it may depend on the country where the company is located.

Hi,

A trademark does not grant exclusive rights for every countries and every goods or services, so if you have not registered the domain in bad faith and your activity is lawful according to your country's legislation then there is probably no reason to worry about.

Depends where you are, In the UK for example I think you have to buy the status of registered trademark. I could be wrong though.
