What do guys use?

Hey, I was curious about what do you guys use for your domain tools.
Not the name of the tools but do you use the app or website.
Or what would you like to use for tools like whois and others.

Welcome! For domain lookups, I mostly use the whois command from a terminal window. Linux is my primary OS.

While I can't confirm that, I wouldn't doubt that there might be issues at times. I use it to verify my own domains (mostly .com). It's the quickest way for me to determine registrar and expiration.

I usually do a follow-up at the registrar if something doesn't seem right.

Yeah I get that but considering the easiness of using an app. Whereas for website you need to open browser then go to the website

The question is a bit vague but it really comes down to what you are trying to achieve.

Apps have their niche as tools to be used on phones, but generally I think a website reaches more people.

I prefer websites, I tried apps before they are really just a website anyways
