What criteria do you use when expanding your parking portfolio?

Hello,

A month+ into experimenting with parking, and was curious to know what criteria parking vets use when buying domains. Whats your minimum threshold on earnings (enough for it to pay for its own registration) for example to make it worth keeping a domain in your portfolio?

On a side note I am selling some domains with parking stats. Feel free to visit my signature which shows external auction post for more information.

Cheers,

Usually, but not always, if a domain makes half of it's registration back in 1 year I automatically renew it, provided it isn't adult or banned. I do this because for me because parking is an adjunct to my domain sales. If I was purely living on parking revenues, I'd want my registration back at least. Of course there are quite a few exceptions where I believe I can still sell the domain to an end user.

When buying new domains. I look at the number and quality of backlinks and the likely amount of targeted traffic they will bring. How much per click is also important but it isn't hard and fast for me, because I'm buyng the domain to resell.
