A large digital gaming giant on the wane (Nintendo) joined forces with a new (ish) augmented reality company, a spin out from by Google, called Niantic who used their technology to create a real world of Pokemon catching and training.
The game is being used by people obsessively (think AngryBird’s on steroids) with more people using it / playing it daily than using Twitter daily in America. Whilst the in app usage is higher for time spent than Facebook clocking in at an amazing 33 minutes.
