Are they worth a good price??

2-char orgs generally go for $150 up, depending on the combination. I've seen some sold for much more.

75.org, on the other hand, is a 2-number org. There can't be many of these, so it is probably more valuable. Lots of possible uses, such as alumni websites, historical websites, or maybe a store that sells everything for $75 (?).

Manual Labour

75.org -> my friend and i manualy tried all possible 2 number combinations (10x10=100 possible combinations). and thus we got 75.org .As of now all 2 character (both numbers) have been taken (in .com , .net , .org extensions)

5c.org -> Then we started off with A1.....Az....B1....Bz and thus reached 5c.org.The number of possible alpha numeric 2 character domains is 36x36=1296 (26 alphabets and 10 numbers).....lots more checking work to do.but its a too monotonous work

i will be putting these two .ORGs in the domain's sale section for bidding soon

but you cant register 2 letter or 2 char .org's anymore.
I thought I had a nice catch too when I saw yo.org was available, later I got informed they arent registerable anymore.

i registered these domains at names4ever.com.I just got a confirmation mail too that these domains were registered.anyways i will check.

Before entering these in to the Sales threads ... please double check that they were, in fact, registered. Rico is correct about the requirements of the new PIR.org Registry, and these should be reverting back to them if they've "expired". Please again check with "names4ever.com". Were these attempted to be registered VERY recently?

just chatted with names4ever live support , they say that the domains were registered successfuly.

Anyways i dont plan to put them on sale atleast for another 15 days .

I registered the domains just yesterday.

Thanks for following up here, mnm_pistha. The domains reflect as "available" at Register.com at this very moment ... so I believe you may be hearing back from your Registrar shortly, IMHO.

for those who were following this thread:just got mail from names4ever that the registeration of the 2 character .org domains is not possible


Is this restriction on 2 character .org domains temporary or permanent.why were they imposed?

5C.org dropped a few weeks ago, many saw it. As soon as it drops, it's witheld from public domain

I thought it sounded familier

1.) See above ... regarding www.pir.org

2.) No, not the same as the ".ORG" Registry rules.
I figured you'd be hearing back from your Registrar.
