Just Regd this domain Wellies.tv and would like to know what you guys think about it, I know some/most of you dont like .tv but please let me know what you think?

They get lots of rain in Tuvalu during Dec-Apr but how many people there would realistically search "wellies"?

I personally would grace delete it, unless you know something I don't

It is probably one of those that will do better under development, or maybe it is one that will sink without a trace...only one way to find out

I have been thinking about buying this domain for around a month and today I finally put my hand in my pocket and regd it...

Looking at the search results I think it could be a good buy, I know over here in the UK Wellies is highly searched and looking on the BOT it looks like it could be widely searched..

What do you guy's think?

I was thinking WTF is Wellies, does it something to do with people from Wellington? Then when I Googled it, it seems to be the same as Gumboots. Has no value to me, but that's IMO

Wellies is what we in the UK call Wellington Boots or Gumboots, very popular here you can work down Oxford Street in London and see girls walking round in Hunters(Wellies).

I have been looking for some sort of shoe domain for a little while as I have trade contacts, This domain is perfect for me and I will develop and make into a estore...

There is a popular market for funky 'wellies' in UK especially since most of their outdoor festivals have people rolling around in muddy fields.

There's a wellies.ie for the Irish market - the .tv extension is not idea for 'wellies' IMO but I think you could pull it off.

The domain left undeveloped has little resale value IMO.

As long as "wellies" is not trademarked an e-commerce store is the way to go, imo. I have no knowledge of what wellies are outside of what I have read on this thread, not really a state side term we use here.

Obviously they were designed by someone who has never been to Glastonbury or any outdoor festival - or anywhere! (does that sound like someone we know?)

Normally you only need the wellies when it is muddy - yet the phone sits on the side of the wellie (gumboot) and wold be the first thing to get saturated or sucked off the outside by the muddy vacuum.

no one in tuvalu searches for anything online since they dont have much internet access. whats that got to do with it?
