My 2 Microwave Pointers ~

1) You know how some folks Dry/roast Pecans in the conventional oven ?? -
Don't EVER try it with a microwave ... Especially if the Pecans are somewhat green still (Blew the glass out of mine) ~ I was about half asleep when it happened and had just picked up a few handfuls out of my yard ....

2) Always ... Always - Read the timer twice - lol - I accidently stuck a bag of popcorn in the new one on about 30 minutes and forgot it until it was too late ... That smell is as bad as Rotten eggs ...... Enough said - lol -


My girlfriend has a wild microwave ~ It is a combo Deal with a convection oven built in .... The wild Part is that you "Can" put all types of metal pans etc ... in it - But - The metal can't touch the sides on the inside of it.

Iam cooking some food in my microwave,And i hear this crackling noise,Smell of something burning.I look through the micrwave door window and WOOOOOOW! It looks like a asteriod in there,I mean fire shooting,Things flying around in there,I unplugged it pronto.I know what your thinking,Must of had foil or metal in there,Nope,Iam an advanced microwave user,LOL,,That microwave fried itself.Glad that's over.Reminded me of something you would see in starwars or something.LOL,,,Shewwww.

Someone in our office had been out in the slush & snow and got their leather shoes wet. He thought a minute in the microwave would steam the water out, but forgot to watch the time. His size 10's became about size 5 with toes curled like a Peter Pan shoes. He drove home in the winter with garbage bags on his feet. That didn't smell all that well either.

At my business, one of the ladies put a small vending bag of microwave popcorn in for only 3 minutes (commercial Microwave). Next thing we heard was OH SH**, and the fire alarm going off. The bag was on fire, and by the time we got an extinguisher, the alarm company had the fire department dispatched.
