Hmmm, the ''s'' drops the value. But i think that it is a nice domain name and sellable.

Thank you. I am new to this, so this is very encouraging. Any suggestion on range?

I am willing to hold it for a few years, so a range would be helpful.

I need a weed guru based out of denver haha
I want a new strain crossing purple haze with girl scout cookies
LOL

as to the name, ditto plural is softer than the singular

I can see a weed company or startup thinking this is worth mid xxx to low xxxx

Maybe you hit the lotto and get a mid xxxx offer

List on sedo, sit back and light up

It will sell

In some way, its niche is forgiving the cons of the name. Check namebio for more info about the price range but you will sell.

I was thinking of a niche review website :P You are right definitely a startup or someone with a .com business model may appreciate it more!

Would you recommend holding it for long?

Look, if i want to make a weed website, this name will be one of my options. This is a basic factor to appraise a domain name. Will a possible end-user be interested? If yes, you will be in the right side.

unless you want a hobby, weed is gonna be a tough industry to compete in

you know 50 years ago huge tobacco companies started taking out TM's on their future weed cig's

you have a few huge traffic sites now, so the game started way back

but sedo is where it will sell NOW and I'd take the money and have a fun few nites

it's not a big money name, but it will give you enough change to blow some trees and hookup with hotties

Thanks!!

I didn't mean as a review website that I would run, but more like I thought the buyer would be someone who may want to run a review website

Thank you - your insights @kite26 & @idomainappraisal help me a lot !

all I will say here is before you lose faith. ask yourself?

NamePro.com?
or
NamePros.com?

which would you have chosen to start this forum.

In fact? why not get a Forum Script? install. host. and get it going?

WeedGurus?
NamePros?

and Websites sell more on sites like Flippa.

there's a perceived value with Websites that Domains by themselves fall short. especially new reg.

see where I'm getting at?

Good luck!

We used to do 'forums' turned them all off for several reasons, mainly too much time to keep them cleaned up.

I myself now like the concept of controlled content from usually some original work and lots of autopilot stuff

Then a buddypress 'community' so the garbage can stay in the feeds of the community and the main front door has the good content.

All the forums eventually get hacked, they require dedicated servers if you get volume traffic and the time to keep the spam and idiots at bay is a full time job.

Who cares is some lamers spam a buddy press feed, the front door with solid content is the draw, not the garbage the users are spamming about

But if you like maintaining a forum great, we found it to be a waste of time and resources

Start a forum, easier said than done haha, but I feel you
