I have two typo .com domains that are pronounceable and read smooth.

Typos can be worth nothing, can be worth hundreds, or can even be worth thousands of dollars; (ie: Mortage.com $242,400 and Voyuer.com $112,000 and Downlaod.com $68,000 ---- just to name a few )

Wednsday.com --- Rare typo, only 7 days of the week.
Guarintee.com --- popular keyword for every business out there

Curious to know where these two stack up on the value chart in your opinion.
Thanks

Hi

if they don't get type-in traffic, then they are not typo's

they are just misspellings

imo...

As you know, the three you mentioned are typos of extremely popular keywords that can make money in some way...and it looks like the sales happened a long time ago, around 2005-2006.
Wednesday isn't a great keyword for typos imo.. who will want it? What will the ads be on a parked page..
Guarantee would be okay, but your typo is not actually typed much.
Also, I'm not sure who would type in guarantee.com or wednesday.com

Look at global monthly searches on keyword planner

Wednesday: 368,000
Wednsday: 8,100

Guarantee: 246,000
Guarintee: 70
Not a good typo

8,100 for Wednsday isn't bad, I guess

Since you already own them, maybe park them and see what happens.

There are sites like this http://tools.seochat.com/tools/online-keyword-typo-generator/
where you can generate typos. And then you could put those into keyword planner and see which are actually common. But as usual, all the good ones are probably taken :)

I guess you could make a way of discovering typos in the deleted domains lists, but those would probably not have been dropped if they were earning someone parking revenue.. And they were probably deleted instead of auctioned off + not re-registered because others didn't find value in them.
You might be better off asking for established traffic domains in a request thread or seeking them out somehow..
They will pay for themselves :)

very good points Jaco. Thanks for the data and suggestions.

My thought for Wednsday, since that day of the week is on every calendar, will never go away, expire, go out of business, is here forever...etc is that perhaps it could be a possible interest for calendar or planner type businesses. Or like you said, park it and see what traffic comes in. Also I noticed that the Month of March "Wednesday" is highly searched year in and year out consistently because of "Ash Wednesday". So perhaps some value there. not sure.

Thanks again. I appreciate the insight and your thoughts.
So dollar value for both domains if wanting to sell --- zero? lol

The one I looked up is a month and a half old. So you should know about the traffic now. Plus dont list domains on NP if you are of going to traffic test them.

There no hard typo rule.

But remember your G one is not a typo strike miss, it's a cross the keyboard misspelling, I instead of A. It's an ugly looking domain, meaning the second you see it you know it is wrong.

Typo domaining is olden days domaining, I wouldnt delve too deep into it. Good Luck
