Website Investors?

Have you ever tried to get investors in your website or internet company to try and raise some money for a certain project?

I am trying to get a game script developed for my site, and it will cost a couple hundred bucks that I don't have. Because I am 99% certain that the game would be such a smash hit, the return we'd get would be pretty nice. How do you go about setting up a system like this, what are some guidelines to follow, etc?

Well it would be hard to find random investors, best thing to do would be to ask some friends.

Also, I could make the game for you I'm a php guru and finished cloning www.streetrivals.com for another NP member earlier today.. and i've cloned kingsofchaos.com and working on xanga.com... just thought i'd throw that in
