Website Design Class

Does anyone know of a good website design class online? I have several domains that I will have developed by a professional but I wanted to understand the basics so that I do not rely entirely on a developer for minor site updates. Thanks for any suggestions!

I think e-books are better than online classes.

yea i would stick with e-books.. seems to be better value for money and easy to follow

i have read lots of ebooks, but the best school i think is experimenting, then asking questions in forums, participating in discusions and so on.

Yeah. That's what I'm saying. Read some e-books, you will get some idea. Then start experimenting...
