I am setting up a small website design business and have come across a minor dilemma :|

Is it

"We offer proffessional, practical web site design at an affordable price."

"I offer proffessional, practical web site design at an affordable price." ?

At the moment I have skirted the issue by typing "[Company Name] offers proffessional, practical web site design at an affordable price." but I doubt I can keep that up :D

So is it more proffessional to use "we" or would it be more honest (honesty is something that my company will pride itself in) since I am the sole propriator to use "I"?

Anyone have suggestions... I feel I have a multiple personality disorder when using "we" although I have tried to justify it in my head as "the company and I". I know this is minor... but hey, the details count!

say we and let people think that you are bigger than you are because people tend to trust larger companies more than sole propriatorships. one day, if things go well, you will be a "we" company. just my $.02.

whats your company called? If its named after you, hen its "I", if the company has a name, its we, (you and the company).

thats what I do ;o)

Cool, the company name isn't mine, so that makes it a "we" company then :) Thanks for the feedback, I can get on with writing my copy then :P

I would recommend you remain honest. But yeah, if you want your clients to think you're a large business, go ahead and use "we."

Cool, I'm not a large buisness, so perhaps stick to "[company name] ...." when I'm tempted to say we, and make my position clearer in the about section.

Thanks Mr. Websites :)
