i have a web page which i update periodically (not on a specific date) and when i update it, i want visitors to see this updated content right away. i dont want them to view the page they may have in their browsers cache as i have price lists to view and if they see old price lists, then they wont buy our products.

how can i go about updating my site and having people see the updated site immediately without them having to clear their internet cache or cookies?

You can set the length of time that the page remains current. In other words if the page is expired, even tho it is in the cache, the browser will check to see if it needs to download the content.
