Maybe could do with looking at the width as the tweet-board at side slightly overlaps the forum.

wow, the design is nice and the forum organisation is good, but in my opinion the domain is not good for seo or for an webmaster forum, it sounds more like an car forum or racing forum. Overall the forum looks nices, great work.

Narrower columns of text have been proven to be more readable. As such you should impose a maximum width on the design so it doesn't spread to fill the screen. Physically moving my eyes across the extremities of a 24 inch monitor is a pretty painful task and I'd say a large portion of webmasters are likely to have similarly large resolutions.

I'd have to agree completely, the domain name does not fit the content imo. I think you'd have more traffic if your DN corresponded with the forum.

As far as design goes, it is appealing and subtle. This works well, the colors are all very subdued which makes it easy on the eyes. You may want to definitely look into the fixed width layout for the forum theme. It may be an option in your forum software. If not, this thread may help you:

Nice design, but I have seen it before, did you create it or is it a non unique design ?
Think that it would be infinitely better as a fixed width design I personally hate fluid layouts.
