I want to be able to offer cpanel accounts and add on domain accounts. So need software that can create the accounts automatically preferably with billing control. I have Vps 1gb mem 25gb space and 325gb bandwidth willing to upgrade. These will be mostly free accounts so wont be giving away too much space bandwidth

I would suggest cPanel. Its probably the best one out there and everyone knows it well.

It is also very user friendly

i have vps and also cpanel all accounts created on the server are given cpanel but I aam looking for a script that does the billing also asign cpanel account or add on domain accounts without me configuring everything by hand

ClientExec or WHMCS.

I've used the first one - WHMCS seems to be the more popular choice because it integrates both billing and support desk, but I prefer ClientExec because it has been very reliable for us.

phpCoin is free, check your fantastico. There are 2 hosting softwares for free there.

Different companies use different billing software. For example, ahosting.biz uses WHMAutoPilot for old clients (registered till May 12, 2006) and ModernBill for new clients (registered after May 12, 2006). Both billing software works fine.
Onthespothosting.net offers Free Client Exec Billing License along with their reselling. I have heard many positive feedbacks about this billing software too.

I'm for phpCOIN. I used it from A2hosting.com and had never anu issus. It's a vey useful control panel with user-friendly interface.

WOW a2hosting is using phpCOIN? Man that's no joke, their interface is very good! Any way to check to see what version of phpcoin they are using?
