WebDesigners Dream Series
Hello everyone, if you do not already know who I am, I am Shannon Lilly. I have been doing WebDesign for 8+ years, and SEO in the past 3!
I run several sites including the one that this topic is about at www.3dgamics.com since I opened it up about 2 years ago, we have been creating and selling 3d training. We have done ok, in fact we have www.academicsuperstore.com selling our products as well! That speaks for the quality of content their site has!
While we have made sales, I personally am not totally happy with the outcome. So I want to branch off and start creating webdesign DVDs. I had 4 in mind to start!
WebDesign Basics: In this DVD we would cover the very basics of HTML, we would discuss how to hand code specific HTML components. images, forms, tables etc.
Photoshop Basics: In this DVD we would cover Adobe Photoshop, we would show how to create a basic web design, banners, logos, photo restoration, cool digital characters and more!
WebDesign Secrets: In this DVD we would cover WYSIWYG programs like Go Live or DreamWeaver. We would also cover basic CSS, Java Script, DHTML and how to ensure your site in W3C compliant as well as Tidy Clean! We would create a entire website in this DVD!
Flash In Proportion: In this DVD we would show how to use Flash as a basic way to enhance your website, perhaps take the website from the WebDesign Secrets DVD and put a nice header on it. Or even create a whole new website with flash, showing stop frames jump frames, basic animations and more!
With those DVD's fresh in your mind, I wanted to see how many people would actually want such a DVD. If you look around at such DVD pricing, it can be high! We would probably sell our DVDs in the 30-40 range. Please leave a comment here, or PM me with any ideas on any of the DVDs, and whether you think its a good idea! If I have 10 or more people comment, I will start taking back orders now!
