Hey all,

I am starting a webdevelopment/design firm, at large scale in my local area.

Everything is going good but I need to ask few questions, see I have nice layout for the site, good graphics and all.

1. But I need to have a client management system, in which our company can post updates and clients can view em.

are there any good scripts available for that?

or incase I want it to get it done from scratch, any idea how much it will cost?

Im havent heard of any script that does that, im sure if you hired a php programmer it wouldnt be too hard, or you might be able to learn and do it yourself.

Sorry about the double post, that would be a bit much, the script wouldnt be too hard to make with a bit of mysql.

The only one I can think of is an open source project named "open for Business" (www.ofbiz.org). It's a quite large, total solution for companies programmed in Java and it also has a CRM component. Since I am pretty sure you can run the components individually, it might be interesting for your business.

Sorry about the double post, that would be a bit much, the script wouldnt be too hard to make with a bit of mysql.

Depends really on the features you need. Here, I would probably include invoicing, PMs, downloads, and loads more of features.

But unless you plan to grow really big, maybe a ready-made solution will do best for you - do searches on CRM and project management.

OFBiz will lead to enterprise level solutions at mid range.

I don't think it will be suitable to Client Management System.
