Which do you think will have more value and demand considering,

web3 - exact matching
w3 - short

And what Web3/W3 + Keyword do you believe will have more demand?

We already discussed that in the w3 thread.

web3 is good, as it is short.
w3 might be a nice abbreviation, for design reason etc.

There is no better,
but if you want to decide,
web3 is the full keyword (and already short).
= will bring more bucks in.

However, in my belief, w3 is great too,
and is being used by many websites already.

So, for sure a good investment (w3 might be even better on the long run).

Companies will have to acquire both, w3 and web3 in my opinion.

So, maybe a good idea to find websites which miss the one or other ;)

Is there any reason for finding names which has other option (web3/w3) already sold instead of both? Would it be a chance to market to them later or Will it have more demand from other buyers since the other option is not available?
Or to consider that as that keyword is/will not be in demand?

So w3 domain names will not be considered as web3 domain names equivalent for that reason?

Perhaps in the 90s it did….that acronym is pretty outdated and useless in today’s world ….

I don't know if someone has tried that before...

However, if there is a website with a web3 (good keyword) domain, I bet they might be interested in w3 (same kewyord).

Out of SEO reasons, protection of their brand and domain, etc.

However, most likely most good ones are gone...

This domain is free, actually. Which is no wonder, because it's not worth much. They're using w3learnacademy.xyz :xf.rolleyes:

It kinda answers the question, though: no, they don't need W3 version if they own Web3* and they don't need Web3 version if they own W3*. Apparently they just register whatever and don't care at all.

Yes, never implied it was worth anything.

Merely pointed out another W3 /(web3)startup

And yes as many companies in this sector went for their “trendy” .xyz without even thinking about the .com (😐)

Anyway point was W3 is being used for Web3 more more

Not here here to argue about it, I’m active everyday in w3 /Web3 …and more groups continue to pop up on LinkedIn at

W3 for (Web3)

Sharing is caring that’s all I was doing here.

Cheers
