hi,
I picked this up off a drop a couple of weeks ago. Archive.org has it cached since '98. My initial thinking is the domain has a some potential to certain end users but I haven't had much experience selling domains and even less evaluating them.
Any opinions on its value would be much appreciated.

A lot of people don't realize, since it seems like a generic term, that 'realtor' is a trademark. Any domain name with the word realtor in it is actively pursued by the NAR (national association of realtors). Only a certified realtor, with permission, is allowed to have the word realtor in a domain name.
People do register them and get away with it... but I had direct contact with the NAR a couple years back over one of my names and I know they have staff whose job it is to find new regs with their TM in them, and pursue those. They'll just send a C&D letter first, so if you dropped the name or turned it over to them, there'd be no probs.

Better yet, just drop it now, even if it's too late to get a refund. Call it lesson learned.

Welcome to Namepros; hang around awhile and read more of the posts before regging new names, so you don't make similar mistakes. Go back in time and read many of the threads in the 'newbies' and 'legal' areas and those will show you how to avoid sandtraps.
