I am looking at selling my free hosting service, which is profitable, and now has over 3,500 active users.

Revenue ranges from $2 - $10 a day from AdSense on the main Website. Ads are not displayed on user pages, and I think this would make a lot of users leave if they were. I have previously tried various paid hosting affiliate programs, with moderate success - I am sure with proper placement that these programs, which pay around $50 per new user referred, could generate a nice amount of income.

Expenses consist mainly of the $8.99 per year fee for the myownfreehost partner program - this pays for the servers, control panels, and domain (which is technically owned by myownfreehost). In return, all I do is market the site, signup users, and give them customer support. For that, I make revenue from any ads placed on the main site, and from ads placed on user pages (though, again, this is something I have not done). Except for a little bit of paid advertising I did on Facebook ($360 worth), there have been no other expenses with this Website.

I invest at least an hour a day into running this site - activities consist of answering support tickets and emails, posting on the forum, and posting on other forums (signature link :)). I also spend time tweaking the Website and looking for other promotional opportunities. The purchaser of this service needs to understand that it is not completely hands-off: the users will have questions, and you will need to be prepared to address them in a timely fashion (I've always answered within 24 hours, which seems to work fine).

The main page and the signup page have a PageRank of 3. The domain has an Alexa rank of 70,071. Unique visitors to the homepage range from 160 - 600 per day. Each day, anywhere from 20 to 200 users signup - right now, this number hovers around 70 a day, and varies with coverage in blogs and links, etc. The site is listed on freewebspace.net, and was listed on free-webhosts.com, which brought in a lot of users.

There is an estimated 36,988 incoming links to the main Website. PR at the next update is expected to be PR5.

As you can see at this link, we are currently hosting 33 domains - most other accounts are subdomains of our main domain.

DNscoop.com currently values the domain / Website at $8,100, but I know that may be a bit high. My asking price is $5,000 - this is negotiable.

If anyone is interested in purchasing this, or has more questions, please PM me or post here.

Thank you for your time.

Yes, that is from previous users who had phishing sites hosted on our service. They were removed.

Here is updated information. I am now asking $1,500 or best offer - I will consider any offer. :)

This auction is for the freezoka ( www.freezoka.com ) free Web hosting service, which has 3,500 active users.

Ads are not displayed on user pages, and I think this would make a lot of users leave if they were. I have previously tried various paid hosting affiliate programs, with moderate success - I am sure with proper placement that these programs, which pay around $50 per new user referred, could generate a nice amount of additional income for the service.

Right now, revenue is made from Google AdSense, and is averaging over $100 per month at the moment. AdSense code could be placed better on the site to increase this number even more, according to what I've been told by several other Webmasters.

Expenses consist mainly of the $8.99 per year fee for the myownfreehost.net partner program - this pays for the servers, control panels, and freezoka.com domain (which is technically owned by myownfreehost). In return, all I do is market the site, signup users, and give them customer support. For that, I make revenue from any ads placed on the main site, and from ads placed on user pages (though, again, this is something I have not done). myownfreehost makes their money from ads in each user's control panel, and from upgrades to their own paid hosting plans. Except for a little bit of paid advertising I did on Facebook ($360 worth), there have been no other expenses with this Website.

I invest at least an hour a day into running this site - activities consist of answering support tickets and emails, posting on the forum, and posting on other forums (signature link ). I also spend time tweaking the Website and looking for other promotional opportunities. The purchaser of this service needs to understand that it is not completely hands-off: the users will have questions, and you will need to be prepared to address them in a timely fashion (I've always answered within 24 hours, which seems to work fine). Any questions you cannot answer can be forwarded to myownfreehost through an 'escalate ticket' function, so you do not have to worry if your technical knowledge is not that great.

The main page and the signup page have a PageRank of 3. The domain has an Alexa rank of 57,487. Unique visitors to the homepage range from 160 - 600 per day. Each day, anywhere from 50 to 200+ users signup - right now, this number hovers around 100 a day, and varies with coverage in blogs and links, etc. The site is listed on freewebspace.net, and also is listed on free-webhosts.com, which brings in a lot of users.

There is an estimated 44,803 incoming links to the main Website (according to dnscoop.com). PR at the next update is expected to be PR5. DNScoop.com estimates the value of the freezoka.com domain name to be $9,600.

If you have any questions, please ask them.

This is now listed on eBay again, after an earlier offer fell through: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200188714618
