Actually I think I read that they weren't monitoring the mailbox listed for the registration. Very funny considering the WHOIS bill that Congress is looking at.

Why a company that large isn't doing 10 year registrations is just silly to me.

When a large company forgets to renew and then lets the name expire, then that will be big news!

If you think about it, a domain registered for longer periods is just bound to be forgotten. If it's been working for the past 10 years, who's going to remember to renew it? The one who did would likely be in a different company by then.

Maybe, but re-registering from year to year is probably a worse idea, LOL!
