Just received a fraudulent email masking itself as ICANN.

Remember: ICANN will never ask you to pay them for a domain name's registration or associated fees. They collect these fees from domain registrars, such as GoDaddy.

I received this same thing today also, was just coming here to post the alert. Totally fake, some scam. I'm too busy, or lazy or something, but I hope someone sends a quick email to the real ICANN to give them the head's up.
