I see some past threads (no current ones) for people selling this vBulletin license thang and I'm in need of one too.

I'd also appreciate some advise on how to be careful cuz I see one thread where someone was taken advantage of when trying to purchase a license! Please advise!

Hey Lyte

When purchasing a license always make sure you get the license verified with vBulletin Staff before you even consider buying it. They will let you know if it's a valid license and whether or not it's illegible to be transferred if you open a ticket up with their sales team (include their name, email, and license number).

It's also extremely important to buy from people who you trust and have a positive track record, as there are many scammers out there trying to sell illegal pirated copies. You can save money by buying an already boughten license instead of directly from Jelsoft, however there's also a chance to be burnt if you don't take extra precautions.

Als if you pay with paypal you can do a chargeback within 30 days i think so thats a little bit of extra cover if anything does go wrong.

If you're looking to save a lot of money, then you should look around the forum here. I just sold my vBulletin license for $120, meaning the guy saved $50+. It's just a matter of finding someone you can trust.

that's the way to go...I would never buy a vb license from anyone unless I'd know them in person or it would be a person I could trust 100%..
