Thinking of developing and giving a lot of their destitute resorts a place on the net. Not many travel there... Bora Bora and Fiji are the more celebrated locations.

Honestly? I think businesswise it's a bad idea. Tourism is almost non existent there. And it doesn't seem to be developing. Polynesian destinations are not oversaturated by tourism (even pre-COVID-19).

If you insist to develop a geo domain, there are so many other opportunities that would give you chance of decent return. For example JasperNationalpark.net dropped yesterday. It has 2.5m of annual visitors, many of whom are domestic, which is really important in pandemic times.

Whole French Polynesia has 0.07m annual visitors.
Fiji has 0.9m.

I know few people live there, but I'd be doing the locals a solid if I were to create an online point of confluence.
It's a bit of a hit and miss though.

Which is the second tallest building in Shanghai, Lujiazui financial district, and loads of tourists, plus it would be easy to get it to front page as an EMD.
