AFAIK the word vista is TM'd by some other company compeltely unrelated to software at all, the word 'vista' means a good view, sort of lol. And 'home' and 'basic' are certainly not TM'd by M$.

So the domain really shouldn't have any TM issues afaik.

Anyone else, pretty please appraise :D

I do believe you have TM issues with this domain; however, that doesn't mean it isn't worth anything. The fact MS is taking their sweet arse time coming out with Vista may be to your advantage--you can figure out what you want to do with your domain in the meantime.

I think the fact the domain has "basic" at the end of it detracts from its value. If you have vistahome.com, I would say that would be worth quite a bit more. As is, I would expect you to get about $20 to a reseller, low xxx to an end user.
