Looking at getting a proper valuation for viralpics.org, had it valued on flippa

they valued it at
$1,498 (mean)

so yeah,

'viral pictures' get 1000 searches.
'viral videos' get 50.000 searches so this is the thing people are looking for.

Though it would be easy to develop a small site and attract some traffic looking for viral media
$1500 is way too much for an org domain like this imho.
