I just read that VIP.com went for $600,000 cash, plus stock. Maybe I should ask more for OAL.com, since the comapny that bought VIP was Leisure & Gaming, a British betting site operator. Let me see... OAL - Odds And Leisure .com Sounds good. What do you guys say?

By the way, SEDO had 9 out of the top 10 sales last week.

Nice name, high x,xxx+ -- maybe change your keyword to "aol" and you'll get better ppc results

I'd advise you do NOT change your keyword to AOL.. just don't do it, even though it might make you money in the short run. It'll show you realize it's an AOL typo, and it'll make it seem as if you're exploiting what rightfully "should" be theirs.. just don't do it.

And, as for an appraisal, I'd not sell it for less than 45k, like someone earlier in the thread said. That truly is an excellent domain.

If some BIG company like IKEA decided to open a web site for a new product offering- maybe called- OfficeAndLeisure, the OAL domain name could be worth BIG bucks. That is true with most domain names.

Yes, I consider OAL to not presently command the price VIP did- but... it is worth much more than $15k

With all due respect, I must disagree.

The reason it's in a different class is because "VIP" is a well known and widely used acronym. "OAL" is not. So regardless of the VIP sale or who bought it, the domain itself is much more valuable on it's own.

That being said, this is an excellent domain with a high quality 3 letter combination and typo traffic. I would agree with the majority of appraisals = reseller price starting high $X,XXX with end user price in the mid $XX,XXX range, potentially more to the right buyer.
