Video in webpage?

[dave9713]

Hi,

Wasn't 100% sure were to post this however i figured this would be the best place, please move this mod's if you see fit.

Right... I am using a mac and in there designer iWeb it has an option to insert videos, this works fine with videos i download, no problem.

Here is the Q. I want to do this with a short DVD which i own (nothing illegal it is from a partner company). However when I put it in my laptop it automatically runs, when i open up the folder it just has a lot of different files with loads of extensions, however there is no direct movie file which i can copy to my computer.

Does anyone know how i could get the movie saved to my desktop in just a plain quicktime/windows media player format to insert?

NP$ for anyone who can solve this puzzle :hehe:

Regards,

Dave

I know what you need. You need a dvd (presumably .iso) to .avi converter.
Here is the solution that is quick, easy and works great.

You can use that program to turn a DVD into a single .avi
I've used it personally and it works. Hope this helps!

Note: Once it is an avi you can use almost any video converter to turn it to another format.
