Yes, funny play on giddyup. Very neat name. I don't see a large sales value at the moment since you'd have to really, really push it hard to get 'someone else' to see a good idea for it, buy it and develop it; but if you're into dev'ing yourself, it's snappy and fun and an ideal name for a fun vids site. Especially, with that 'up', possibly a Digg.com - style voting atmosphere? In fact, I think I just gave you your marketing plan right there, ha. With all the good templates out there, a good programmer should snap you out a vid voting site for a few hundred clams, one that even reformats different vid files so they all open identically onsite.

If someone gets the idea right away, even undeveloped someone might like this name enough to pay in the low xxx range, in my opinion. If I wanted a (nother) site like that, I'd pay for that name. Nice one.

I do, but for this stuff I don't have the chops. We use a programmer from this region, he's a genius. But overworked on all the gigs we're firing at him.

We do other stuff through them; you'll get great prices, programming wizards, fast work, and can read everyone's recommendations/reviews before hiring. Secure payment escrow too, so great site, I highly recommend if you need to farm your work out. You can also put the word out on Namepros.
If you use Getafreelancer, try out Varun, he has some solid scripts for this Digg-style voting thing and did good work for us. I don't know if he can do the vid embedding or how good he is with vid format transcribing (he might be expert, we just didn't need him for that so it didn't come up), but he can certainly do vid linking/thumbnails. He could probably whang you out a finished site, if you provide content, of a vid-voting site for 500 clams or less. But let him tell you that
