For those that don't know the Vex Kit is a small robot kit where you later buy many accessories, very similar to the Lego Mindstorm sets if you are familiar with that.

I have not heard of it either but that doesn't mean it has no value, just means I havn't heard of a vex kit.

After a quick Google search (not many results) I think you should try to sell it to Vex Robotics. Or some other robitics company. Or develop your own site explaining the Vex Kits and selling them as an affiliate.

I see value, but am unsure as to how much, sorry.

I don't think so, the whois is public and they havn't even tried to contact me after a year now, ifs their fault if it is, if they do find they want it you could get a nice payment after the following lawsuit.

Just because they haven't tried to contact you doesn't mean there's no trademark issue. They may not even be aware of the name. Companies have better things to do than to constantly search for infringing domains.
How would I get a payment after a lawsuit? It would be them who might get the payment. I'm not trying to be a spoilsport here, just pointing out a potential problem.
