I don't understand; what is "nic" doing in a "top tier" list?

Your guess is as good as mine. I do not agree with damitsam, however i do understand where he is coming from, and i am going to refrain from argument. B-)

try typing in nic.cc, nic.tc, nic.sg, nic.rw, nic.cg nic.** <-- extention being in there.

If you havent noticed, most registrys use nic.** as their homepage.

If you own a nic.**, you get lots of natural type ins + if you use your affiliate link (lots of free cash). FREE highly targeted traffic.

EG. I own nic dot gd, getting tons of type ins right now... once i get control of dns (january) i will redirect to idotz with my affiliate code in it :)

.my domains has been available for ages.
Registrations are at the third level (.com.my, etc)

List of official registrars: http://www.mynic.net.my/newhp/reseller-list.htm

You have to be a Malaysian person or business to get one, or use a proxy registrar- but look at this nic's terms- it pretty much says if they catch you doing this they'll take your domain off you.

Sid- I was saying that i wish i could get involved in the market. But seeing as how it is not legal for me to do so, i cannot get involved with the market.

thanks for the info.
I have a couple of keywords I am interested in, mainly for seo, but I am a little hesitant with this extension.

have you guys seen any results with developed sites with .vc?

I'll let you know when I sell credit.vc :) As it's my first .vc

If I remember correctly, forum member Mr. Johnson dabbles in .vc domains- I seem to remember him owning website.vc and it was valued mid $$$ upwards...

here. let me get you caught up with reality a bit. I have been holding onto sms.sh and insurance.ac for 6-7 months now. not a SINGLE offer, and these are in the 2nd Tier of keywords. I doubt you will find keywords as high as these in an ext as .vc... so i would recommend registering any new ones.

Dotster has .VC for $35 for one year, $65 for two, last time I checked.

I agree that really nice names in obscure extensions get little or no attention from buyers. But things can change quickly.

i jumped on board with gps.vc, which i think is not a bad domain name, regardless of the extension.
its a generic term, the .com is held my MSF and the rest of the gps providers is left in the dust...so,..maybe...just MAYBE...i get lucky with this one and make more than it cost me.... :$:
