vBulletin postbit help....

Hi. I have a problem. How can I add little pics below username, like these balls on the picture below, which will be changed, depending on post count? more posts, more balls. It's vBulletin 3.0.9. I doesn't need to be the ball....it can be anything else.

these i beleive are either rank images or group images which can be set in the admin cp,a simple search of vbulleting.org would have found the coreect information

One more thing...how can I get this panel (like on this forum) to be on the right?

To get that panel on the right, i belive you have to edit the templates manually.

I'm sure someone would have made a little article or tutorial about it at vbulletin.org or vbulletin.org.

Search their forum.

Decided to how a quick look for you...

It's for Vbulletin 3.0.0, but i'm sure it will work with Vbulletin 3.x.x, as it's only a slight HTML template modification.

If you require to have more than the Birthdays and such in the panel, i'm sure you will be able to edit it.

All i managed to do is this:

Can't make it move data into my new SIDEBAR template. Can anyone PASTE me the code here that goes in the sidebar template? I want it to be like on this forum, with PM's, View new posts, Site statistics...Thanks in advance.

What namepros has done is added their own functionality to the forumhome page to read database entries, in turn displaying it on the "home page" of the message boards.

What you're looking to do can be achieved by just copying/pasting the code from your template called 'FORUMHOME'; you just need to find it.

I'd show you the code changes on this post, but I don't want pirated license holders to access the code, and it would take some time to explain/type out.

However,

Look at the 'FORUMHOME' template and find a couple key places noted with things such as the "What's Going On Box"

( this should be 3/4 down the bottom and surrounded by <!-- , <!-- / tags. )

For the images, that is indeed Ranks...you can find those settings in your ACP - Rank Manager

GTAce, just because he is running 3.0.9, that doesn't mean he may be running a illegal copy of Vbulletin.

If your curious, just run a check on his site, instead of trying to make him look bad on NP.

The only reason I said that is because vB 3.0.9 is a very common hacked version of vB circulating around out there...and it is 6 months outdated...It's not unusual for people to not upgrade for 6 months, but then again, it's not normal either. There are plenty of 3.0.x upgrades
