Hey, we just picked this up. Its going to be a forum, of course. About what isn't sure yet, but already we have some ideas on how to make it the biggest, most universally-used board in existence. I mean, that's what you'd expect from the vBorg, right?

Ideas, appraisals, and random thoughts all welcome in this thread. Thanks!

well, vborg in and of itself means virtually nothing.. and that's how I'd appraise the domain unless developed.. good luck with it!

vborg means vbulletin.org for short.
only inside the same community for vb is well known no overture only 16,300 listings on google. about U.S.$50 or more if developed.
it's a nice 5-letter .com though good for vb coders/moders/skinners type of a community.
is it a tm? can it be sold to jelsoft?
to make it big might need the help of some vb staff appearances on the community.

since i seen many multiple phpbb, mybbb bulletin script that allows you to have a forum using those forum script as backend but haven't seen any one offering free forum made up of vb, you might want to start on that project. i don't know about the licensing of that.

Hey Dave! Thanks for the appraisal. In fact, vBorg means something to some people, which is why google returns 15,900 results.

Congrats, William, you read my/our mind! Are you sure you're not part of the collective? If not, you will be, soon. :hehe: vBorg will be a multiple-forum solution, based on vbulletin of course, and totally in accord with their license restrictions.
