Bonus points for thinking creatively, but the term seems a bit redundant, since cartoons already are video, so to speak.

It's a bit like coming up with the term "Vovies" -- video movies. Doesn't really serve much purpose.

I was curious about the traffic, with v right beside c you might have some traffic for cartoons. As a brandable dn without traffic it's one of those 'wild cards', pretty much reg fee - xx area, unless you can develop it or somehow get this 'new word' known. But, there are countless ways of mixing/matching two words in every media known to man, and coming up with custom words like this. If an end user has in mind what you have in mind, then they would of course pay high $$$cash for it. But that's a rare thing for this kind of name; it does happen I'm sure, but I haven't seen examples I remember...

Technially Cartoons are like Comics, its just we call the ones on tv Cartoons too. I suppose it might be the same as anime?

I think Vartoons could be successful with ALOT of hard work! If you have a big comunity with ideas and backing you up ect, then it will work.
