I am working on a script to pick up expiring domains and I'm interested if you think the resulting domains are worth purchasing.

I was just skimming over the output and these are the ones which caught my eye -
1-800-bitches.com **
1-800-facials.com **
1-800-nbabets.com
1-800-nflbets.com
100unsexiest.com
100bucksorless.com !!
5offers.com
7gigs.com
amazingtrader.com
amazingwaysonline.com
americanhostingcompany.com
ampedbass.com
animationfair.com
animalzsex.com **
animalsex-online.com **
angermanage.com
antiintruder.com

Are any of those worth buying or not? I don't really mind if you buy them yourself as I'll have a new list tomorrow and I have B-Z from today. But are any worth purchasing?

Also, they're all expiring today but how would I go about purchasing them? Should I backorder them through GoDaddy or what? I have never purchased an expiring domain before, just new ones.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

ps. I put this in the appraisals forum because I want to know what they're worth.

Ok, thanks for that info.

Do you think I would profit from purchasing any of them or should I only buy them if I want to develop them? On should I wait for the BIG one? :P

You have to remember that these people here arent' your friends. They don't know you and although some of them will take a few minutes out of their day to help on appriasal or two ... they aren't going to pass up on an opportunity.

It's like playing poker, you don't show someone your hand and then ask if you should up your bet.

If you had anything of value, then someone else is going to see it and buy it right out from under you.

I will give you this bit of advice on your domain list and any future considerations....

Don't buy a domain that has a typo, dash, a digit or an abbreviation in it. For example .... I-Love-U-4ever.com or animalz or URulez

And All4U?

BTW great advice, although danbradster mentioned that he will not mind if someone would grab them

techie's got it right, I have written a script so I will have new domains each day so feel free to register these ones.

I think lwe.com expired today but godaddy.com says "Not Available", does that mean that I'm too late? Somebody's already bought it?

Thanks for the advice so far but can you answer this question as well?

There's no way you're gonna pick up any LLL.com domains for a hand reg, they all get picked up by dropcatchers & gets auctioned off for many thousands of $$$ or way more then that

So you think any LLL.com is worth backordering for $60 at snapnames.com?

And All4U?

I wasn't asking for a valuation of my domain(s) ... only offering advice for this person new to the business in an effort to help him.

But since you asked, there are some exceptions to every rule, especially when it's an established domain with traffic, alexa ranking, backlinks, a short .com with generic terms, goes with AllForYou.com and archives dating back like 10 years.

His question however has nothing to do with my domains so please stay on topic.

BannerPopups.com is expiring today, is it worth bidding $60 for a backorder at SnapNames/Pool or not?

and HostingOnWeb.com? It has some nice keywords for a Web Host.
