I think the potential of .info is under estimated.

.info is relevant to latin sites as well because information is informacion in Spanish.

I for one will click on a .info link in preference to a .com link as it suggests an uncommercial site.

Yes, with what DOMiNIC said, the .info can be in Italian too (Informazione) but it can be multi-purpose. But what normally defines the language of a .info is the text before it (language it is in)

I say probably mid-$xx to low-$xxx for this one...

Also in my opinion .info's are under estimated - in slovian countries info also is treated as something like 'information' ( I am polish - in polish: informacja ).
