My online/gaming name has been BeerNuts for 15yrs. I bought the domain for general crap like a blog or somthing but nothing much. I am thinking of putting it up for auction to possibly put a dent in my student loans.

"BeerNuts" is a food snack, they own the .com. My intention was never to bother them or infringe on their business.

BeerNuts can be used as a beer related site since as many have pointed out online, I must be nuts for beer.

There are 2 tradmarks registered with the patent office, But they are not of the phrase "beer nuts" they are tradmarked images of the stylizing of the phrase.Trademark Seach Results So no trademark is infringed with this domain.

it's probably worth very little as it's .co.uk but if someone in the UK (A great nation of BeerNuts) wanted to do a site about Beer and pubs etc it be worth a bit more. Or if a book was written or Movie called BeerNuts and in the UK it's possible.

It's a nice desriptive name though...Maby you should develop it and sell the site...Websites are cheap these days if you use a directory type template with CMS.

Someone out there wants this name for a hobby or even biz website about Beer, its History, Pubs...The best pubs..You make it free for pubs to be listed then charge for an upgrade to featured pubs in each town etc...You need SEO too but I think it could be easy to optimise.

Then it's valuable .

Capital idea, I think I am going to try the pub directory. There is one on every block in the uk.
