Hey...our "Users Online" just got LARGE for a moment.

Logged on and wanted to take a glance at who was online and the names just "popped out" on the page. Now it's back to the regular size font.

Do I need some sleep? Was I seeing things? Has anyone else noticed this? Is this "old news"?

The problem is obviously that there is a </font> in the first member link, but the <font style=' ... '> isn't there. Now as to the code reason of this I can't give any advice since I have never used such things in vBulletin, and do not have an active license to look it up at.

i believe the problem lies when someone a glow is the first person, i've noticed that seems to be when it happens, and when it does happen that person never has his/her glow

Alright:

When the first user is supposed to glow (thanks brian), the <font> tag for the glow is not included, but the trailing </font> tag is placed after the name, thus closing out the main font.

Solution: Check the code for making the glow for the names, and make sure that the placement of code is in the right part of the loop cycling through names.

Should be fixed now. If so, the only thing causing this oddity was a missing period on one line of code. :o

Heh good contest idea. Add periods to stuff and then we got to search throught the whole thing to see if we can find it :p
