First of all it is to be noted that this is not a simple user counter that counts total visits, this counter shows how many users are currently online on the specific page the code is placed on.
What the user can do:
- Create an account (all checkings done regarding email format, username and password length etc).
- Get a new counter code (as much counters as he needs)
- Specify a comment for each counter in order to know to which each belongs
- Delete a counter
- The code can be moved between site pages, no restrictions
- User specifies a timeout, a threshold after which a user is considered to have left the site, unless he loads the page again.
This service is very easy to use and if placed on a site wide footer/header/menu, can track online users browsing the entire site.
The output is also an image, not a simple text.
