reg fee or less... only because .name's dont seem to be much value at the moment, and really... it doesnt make sense. United States Dollar Name, the name and extension don't match...

Sorry :/

Just keep holding, I have ids.name Ghz.name Rev.name Fjj.name and about 60 generic keywords like Beds, Alarms, Grapes, Condos etc.

I purchase names that I like and see potential in but am willing to sit on for 10 years if I have to.

The keywords do great and optimize like any other extension.

2 months ago .name was wide open with many many nice names available but that's not the case today. They are much more difficult to find.

If you decide you don't want I'll give you $12 for it. Who knows in 10 years it may be worth $20

In my opinion they are domain names so the .name does make sense and may do very well in the not to far future for people owning names like Domain.name, Generic.name, AppraiseMy.name, NameDrop.name and many others.

I say hold steady but what do I know?

I have alot of those AppraiseMyDomain.name type .name's but I think they are more relevant than something like USD.name as the name itself doesn't match the extension, just like if you were to put Religion.biz or Donation.biz but like you said, you never know.

Lets just hope these .name's take off :)

Remember just two things, .name is used for many things but was originally intended for peoples names, nick names, etc

1. Many peoples initials have 3 characters first middle and last.

2. (3) digits especially letters are the rarest in any gTLD.

I so believe that no domainer has seen a rush on domains like what's coming and many extensions will be needed. Even if there's 100 gTLD that's nothing since only 100 people are going to get (books dot whatever or any other generic name and there's a lot of people who sale books, furniture, fruit, and so on.

I'd rather have books.name than RememberMyBookStorePlease.com

You make very good points, but alot of the 3 letter initials will be taken in no time.

Right now, I dont think anyone would want that domain. Give it many years, and you could sell it for a lot of money.
