Even then you might have considered abbreviating the state or another ccTLD. I just suggested .RE for Real Estate, for example... even info might have been better and fit.

People looking for a large city with a unique name - like Baltimore or Albuquerque - will seldom type out the state name. So these names may have good keywords for developing a site with search engine appeal, but I really don't think they will attract many type ins. Reg fee or possibly a few dollars more.

I got lucky with real estate search in Baltimore. I have two pages "above the fold" in Google for --->Baltimore real estate :lala:

I have a couple clients that love those results. :]

Idea is good. try to abbreviate state names so that it could help to reduce the length.
