Ok the UN says the US is being stingy and should raise taxes to give more money and AID to other countries. I say screw that stop giving them AID and start giving it to the homeless in the US of A.

The ONLY countries we should help is the ones who dont have an anti-US attitude and the ones who have stuck behind us in this war on terror.

It can be a positive contribution...
It can be a negative contribution...
But there is always some kind of contribution.. and most of the countries provide both. People make a country and they have different beliefs and values.. So why should we question other persons values and belief.. We can live with ours and let them live with theres..

tell me a country that does not contribute anything... Positive or negative..

The reason why I critize USA only is because there's no point to critizing anyone else here. How many Chinese people are on this fourm? And if there are any how many are reading this right now? Whats the point?

This makes me remember why NP is mostly an unprofessional forum.

I am by all means a Capitalist, but at some point, you have to help out your fellow human beings. Many of us spend hundreds of dollars on frivelous things (MP3 players, diamond rings, expensive watches) when there are millions of people starving and dying everyday. Think how happy the starving African children are when someone comes to their rescue and provides them with food and a few measley dollars with which to survive. This has nothing to do with communism and everything to do with compassion.

I am ashamed for NamePros sake that these disgusting posts are even listed on this website. I am ashamed for the United States because there seem to be plenty of members who dont give a rats ass how many billion people are living on less than $1 per day while they ride around in their Land Rovers and BMWs.

A United Nations official yesterday backpedaled from his claim that the United States is being "stingy" in its response to the Asian earthquake disaster after Secretary of State Colin L. Powell disputed the remark.
"The United States is not stingy," Mr. Powell said as the United States increased its initial package of disaster relief from $15 million to $35 million.
"We will do more," he added during a round of morning TV interviews. "I wish that comment hadn't been made."

What are they supposed to do? They don't have seeds and they don't have land to plant them on, and they don't have water. And for getting jobs, don't you think they looked? Most of them don't have any edcuation and don't have the money to get one so how are they going to get a job.

I dont mind the US giving AID to the countries that need it but when people and the UN come out and say our $15 to $30 million is stingy it pisses me off. France and Russia could make themselves look better if they came out and said they was sending the MILLIONS they stole from the people of Iraq in the Oil for Food scam. Will they? HA!
