Name.com has been offering domains for $5.99 for quite some time now.

$5.99 for new reg and transfers and covers .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO,.BIZ

Update: .US domains are now $7.99

.BIZ domains are currently $2.99 for new reg.

Their control panel is very easy to work with.

I have regged and transferred quite a number of domains with them
without any problems.

Name.com is owned/operated by domainsite, so they are reputable. I've never used name.com, but I've heard positive things.

Also, GoDaddy usually offers .us renewal promos closers towards April when many of the domains are coming up for renewal.
