.us .US Celebrity Domain Names

I need your opinion on what do you think .us celebrity domain name would be worth developed and undeveloped? If all the other major extension were taken and only .us was able to register, would you make a move on it?

If no other extensions were available I would rather create a subdomain on an existing site rather than spend the money registering a .us. Just my .02

Of course, you can. As I don't think they are going to have an problem as they aren't the only one with that name.

In general .us names get fairly low traffic levels even for high OVT terms. If you plan on developing a fan site, I would look at .info first, as that is a more universal extension. You'll find that .com, .net and .info are taken for most of the more popular celebrities, but I'm not convinced .us is a viable alternative for a fan site. :imho:

Yup, thus the reason why I wanted to take other's opinion before I go on a .us registration spree. I have found many names which are taken in .com, .net, .info, and few other extensions but only .us is left...
