Upstatenewyork is a really nice name if you intend to develop a site about upstate new york.

From a domain name standpoint, it is reg fee, imagine someone wanting to develop a site on upstate new york and was looking for a name....yours will cost whatever markup you put on it and then there are an endless supply of alternatives, such as UPSTATENY.TV, USNEWYORK.TV NEWYORKUPSTATE.TV...Since yours will anyway need developing, noone is gonna type in upstatenewyork.tv or even upstatenewyork......why would anyone pay you a premium for your name.......

Unless you reg a city name that has inherent value, with or without development, then the nd result will always be reg fee at best

Its just one opinion......I may be well off the mark...but it is my HONEST opinion....

You have regged city names that have been awful, (again IMO) and then you have regged some absolute diamonds......

From what I can remember of your regges, overall, your diamonds will leave you very nicely in the black.....!!

I think this name is really good personally. If Marchex owns the .com then you are on the right track. They own great properties and usually any .tv I buy when marchex owns another extension I seem to do well. Anytime you see a site like that one its owned by marchex. You can probably see the whois but you can tell by their parking pages, they are the best. If you go to marchex.com you will see some examples of similar pages that have been slightly developed. They make lots of money.

It was in my buy list, I ended up taking Monticello.tv instead because of the future casinos. IMO if more places become legal for gambling in Upstate New York it is a name to hold onto for a few years. Hmm... I wonder if woodburne is available?
